Paints, and brushes, and easels, oh my!

Everyone has their candy store; the place they love to go and wander the aisles, making wish lists. Places that they'd love to splurge at, but rarely do.

At the head of my list is the
Opus on Granville Island, which sells artist's supplies. [The rumours are true - I'm an artistic toddler, who some day hopes to at least hit mediocrity, but would prefer brilliance.]

Anyways...

I was very pleased to receive Opus' latest flyer [Yes, I'm on their mailing list - SUCH a geek!]and learn they've now added a section to their home page where you can search for courses based on starting month, location, subject or instructor.

Excellent!

Now if only I could afford all the courses that caught my eye....

What kind of art work do you do?

Good question.

My immediate reaction is BAD artwork, but that's a little off-the-cuff, isn't it?

Actually, I lean more towards abstracts than representational - I'm intrigued by the idea of using colour and texture to represent an individual's state of being. Abstract seems to fit this better, at least for now.
