Monday Morning Love List, #25

Tags: ,

Love - That the rain stopped, and we got a chance to dry out this weekend. It FINALLY feels like the days are getting longer, and the promise of Spring might not be empty...

Not So Much - This morning's cup of tea is just plain nasty. Why is it that office tea never tastes as good as the tea you make at home?

Love - That I've just started thinking about the next issue of the magazine I edit, and already I'm starting to receive submissions.

Love - Today's horoscope: You have the ability now to let go of anything that restrains your creativity. This isn't about avoiding responsibility; it's about using your common sense to do something extraordinary. Don't be satisfied today with the status quo. Instead, be determined to explore the alternative possibilities while enjoying yourself.

Love - That after only one re-scheduling, I was able to go down to Pigeon Park with my trusty bodyguards and photograph a local building which is slated for renovation. Photos and tale to come. I promise.

Not So Much - That the weekend was too short. Again.

Not So Much - That last week was full of half-completed entries, none of which got posted. I was too easily distracted. Or sleepy. One of the two.

Love - The possibilities a fresh week provides.

Love - All the amazing people who've visited and left comments this past week.

So... what's on your list today?

Love being in an editing groove.

Not so much love how far behind I am in email.

Love that my weekend felt a week long so that I only vaguely remembered where I worked by Monday.

Love that we laughed to a Montreal stand-up comedian last night.

Love that I got to talk with my aunt for a bit.

Laughed that she received the letter today mailed January 25. It would have taken only an hour to drive it there myself.

Love that evening's almost here.
