Feeling a Little Nekkid

Tags: ,

Driving around with the beloved on Saturday, running the usual assortment of errands, I noticed something that I really ought to have noticed before.

Take your average 10 Vancouverites on a cold and blustery but glorious day, and 9 will be wearing something Lululemon, something polar fleece-y, and then they'll top the whole thing off with either a Taiga or MEC jacket, or one of those big poofy down vests that if done wrong makes the wearer look like the Michellin man gone bad.

I wasn't wearing any of the above, and this made me feel a little nekkid Hence my title.

I've lived here for a very long time, but I wasn't wearing the Lululemon pants! Nor the aforementioned fleece! Would someone notice and throw me out of the club? Or would they let me off with a warning and a gift certificate to Lululemon?

Yeah. I needed more coffee...

hi cin! i couldn't help but ROTFL... you're right, 9 out of 10 people are wearing the same outfit from lululemon, plus fleece or bubble vest! hmm... and i thought it was only in asia where people dress almost alike. LOL. don't you think the weather is so much better than 2 weeks ago? i'm loving it!
